FREDRIK FAGERLUND
The solo debut of FREDRIK FAGERLUND (The Diamond Dogs, The Facer) will take you flying high and low
between shimmering guitar strings and hammering rock piano.
The album “INTERNATIONAL” is the result of close collaboration with Mats Hammarström and other guest musicians and friends from Swedish bands Isolation Years, Deportees, Perishers and Diamond Dogs.
The musical trip goes from steel guitars and country flavoured pop songs to mellow rock beats and boogie strummed keyboards.
Fagerlund is a talented songwriter with the courage and skill to give the album dynamics from songs like mellow “Black Box”, following “Let The Word Fly”, with its direct and energetic melody, to frail and naked ballad “This Summer’s Finest Rainy Day”.
With a past as member of rock band The Facer (Stockholm Records) and touring and recording musician
with Swedish rock legends like Ulf Lundell, and Dennis Lyxzén, Fredrik now also cherish the opportunity to do something of his own. The album project has developed slowly and surely into its final form.
